Pope Francis consoled him in his grief, now he mourns his passing

MANILA, Philippines — As soon as comforted by Pope Francis himself, Paul Padasas is now grieving the demise of the 88-year-old pontiff, who died at his residence in Vatican’s Casa Santa Marta on Monday, April 21.

Padasas, the daddy of a younger Filipino volunteer who died in an accident when Pope Francis celebrated Mass in Tacloban Metropolis in 2015, stated he’s “confused.”

“I’m actually in sorrow now. I used to be in disbelief when a relative instructed me, however unhappiness stuffed my coronary heart after I checked the web page of Vatican Information,” he instructed INQUIRER.web.

Padasas met the Bishop of Rome in Manila after the demise of his then 27-year-old daughter Kristel Mae. Pope Francis honored her when he presided over a program with 1000’s of younger Filipinos on the College of Santo Tomas a day after her passing.

“I instantly went to the altar the place Kristel Mae’s image is positioned,” he stated. “I talked to her and instructed her that Pope Francis is gone.”

Again when the chief of the Catholic Church was preventing a severe bilateral lung an infection, Padasas requested for prayers for Pope Francis, who as soon as “took away our sorrow.”

“Now, he’s already with God,” he stated. “I used to be nonetheless hoping that I’d get the possibility to fulfill him once more and say ‘thanks’ for the power he has given us.”
