Tokyo (Jiji Press) — A public gathering was held on the Imperial Palace in Tokyo on Sunday to have fun Japanese Emperor Naruhito’s sixty fifth birthday on the day.
“I want everybody across the nation a peaceable spring,” the Emperor instructed crowds of people that gathered on the palace within the Japanese capital’s Chiyoda Ward for the greeting occasion.
In the meantime, Emperor Naruhito mentioned, “I want to ship my heartfelt sympathies to individuals who have suffered hardships and harm as a result of current heavy snow.”
Emperor Naruhito appeared on the balcony of the palace’s Chowa-den corridor a complete of 3 times within the morning with Empress Masako, and the couple’s daughter, Princes Aiko, in addition to Crown Prince Akishino, Crown Princess Kiko and their second daughter, Princess Kako. They waved to the guests with smiles.
